World Finals on Speedvision

Man I just watched it and I was happy to see that they had some coverage of our sport. Could you freaking believe how fast that dam Yamaha came out of the hole? Wow. I want one. I noticed that Yam seemed to beat everything out there. What ws the Kawasaki? I couldn't tell if it was an Ultra or an STX. It looked like it may have been a three seater.

The Yamaha didn't come out of the whole that fast, but 3/4 of the way to the first buoy is when it started to come alive. As far as wanting one, good luck and have lots of cash. Yes, the Kawis were the 3 seaters.

I was in the Kawi pits that morning and asked which ones they were going to race. The answer was, 'STX's. Because they hook up and handle better in the rough water. The Ultras are much faster but dont hook-up aas well.' Personally I think the water wasnt all that rough. And they made the wrong decision. Also .. I cant get speedvision here. Can someone make me a tape????

Gimmi Bosio was worth goin' to Havasu for! The Bosio/Farthing battle was the best thing since cookie-dough ice cream! I'll watch it for years to come! What I didn't know was how close they actually came to hitting....hard! I think there may have been some yellow & blue gelcoat exchanged in Moto 1!!! Yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa!

P.S. If all we've got is the 951 again next year, somebody NEEDS to get Bosio's formula. Bosio is an excellent rider, no doubt, but that ski was posessed by something more than good luck!!!
