VP Contingency $$$

Anybody get checks yet from tour or WF for the contingency money from VP?

Also, congratulations to Chad Cole on his wedding this past weekend. He should really be focused on tour this year with the single life now behind him. (there's an open end for your retort Fraz)

Not necessarily in VP's defense, but I know in years past, IJSBA did not get the information to the contingency manufacturers in order for them to pay out to whoever deserved it.. You may want to contact the IJSBA to confirm that they did their part.

Thanks Lee - I called IJSBA. Melissa advised VP had Tour info. Called Bruce at VP. He advised that the info is now with their corporate office for disbursement.

I'm still pondering racing regionals altough I'm definately racing the San Diego Pro race.

I upgraded my 785 to Coffman's (basically the same set up as Bruce Johnston's)

got going, but I can't figure our what's wrong with it. B4 the race it would load up and then after it died during the race, I can't get it to run unless I use the primer. Then it runs for 1-2 seconds and dies. Maybe it's valve timing. Or mabye the Carbs. I just don't know. Those Billet Carbs nearly drove me to drink. Any feed back would be incredibly appreciated.

As far as the VP contingency goes. I never received my money from VP for WF 1999. I tryied to trace it, but not enough money to go any further than a phone call.

I hope you get your money, Brad. I will tell you this much: after some unreturned calls from Melissa I called back until I finally got her in her office. She directed me to VP and explained that VP had the information sent to them.. I called VP and they of course told me to take it up with IJSBA. I am not really trying to nitpick but it would seem to me that both parties would want to have a line of communication that resulted in creating a positive image.. Hopfully this is just an artifact of the former administration...

We experienced the same problems with Blaine's SS. Because it was a different medley, it took the entire season. For us, the key was the billet set up. We changed pop-off, needle and seats, and jets - finally it all came together. The only solution is time on the water. Andrew was very helpful - call him.

As for the tour, we'll be with Adrenalin again. We'll do Regions until tour begins.

Although it's going to be a transition year for tour, we're committed to do our best with a full team effort. I can't wait!
