Think My Body has had a Cold Seizure

Well, my jetskiis are sitting in the garage doing nothing for a while at least. I live in Fort Smith , Arkansas and we had a MAJOR ice storm come through and just tear us a new one. Big limbs came down all over the place like rain, one ripped the power lines right off my house. A lot of people have zero utilities and have had none for days. It is the worst ice storm I have seen in my 50 years of existence. I went to Lowes and there was a very long line for generators ( they didn't even have any at the time, but were expecting more at noon today). This was at 9:00 this AM. So right now , whether my ski will run that extra 1 mph doesn't seem to matter much. Anyone that can go jetskiiing , think of me. I think I will go drink a little more coffee to ward off the cold seizure I feel coming on. Charlie Fox

George, Speaking of generators, Home Depot currently is building a new place here ( we didn't have one here before) . Anway they sent in a truckload of 180 generators in here on Friday around 10:00 in the AM and they were all sold by 1 PM . They just sold them off the truck out at the new store construction site. I heard they were bring in another load on Saturday. They were not gouging people on the price either. Lowes, Sutherlands, all the big hardware places sell them out as fast as they can unload them. We still have a LOT of people out of power and it is supposed to get down to 5 tomorrow night . I am looking forward to 2001. Praying for warm weather and lots of jetskiing. Got my wife a new SeaDoo life vest for Christmas, don't guess she will use it anytime soon. I need to move to the Carribean or something.

Charlie, Are you getting more snow today? I live in OKC and we have about 4' of new stuff on the ground. It started about 3am this morning and after looking at the weather radar just a minute ago it looks as if it will snow here for at least another couple of hours. It looks as if you will have fresh snow coming your way for the next few hours. The weather people here say it will move out fast but not melt for a few days. They say it may be thursday before we get above 32 again. We missed out on the ice storm here, we got 2-3' of sleet instead. I like the snow even though the drivers here can't drive on the stuff.

Anyone ever pull their ski behind a 4 wheel drive truck?

Believe it or not , I was on my way to church this AM and I saw two guys pulling about a 16 foot flatbottom boat behind an explorer. They looked like they were going duck hunting. It was snowing like crazy at the time and the roads were becoming slick. That is dedication to your sport. Just in case anyone is wondering, no I didn't see anyone pulling any jetskiis. I think we are supposed to get just 2 or 3 inches of snow here before it quits. On top of all the ice we already have, oh well. Hey Dana, about that snowblower ??? Charlie Fox

I had a cold seizure too. The Bucs loss was bad enough, but the ride on my Harley home at 37* wasn't a real toasty feeling either..LOL Bubba
