I have bought a 96 Doo and am putting an SBT engine in it, but I must remove the flywheel and pto before I return it to SBT. I understand the pto comes of by turning to the left. Do you heat it or beat it or what to break it loose. When removing the flywheel do you remove the charging piece from the fly wheel and if so does it screw off or pull off after the bolts are removed.

I would give you a better link, but I am in the middle of switching web hosts right now...so here's the direct link to our install guides: http://216.97.53.74/guides.htm - I suggest the high-res version (Sea-Doo 800) but the low-is fine if you on a low-speed connection.

If you have any problems, give us a call in the morning, 8-5 EST. 877-330-0231

YOU NEED A GORILLA on the pto, and I personally have ruined a flywheel ( threads) trying to get it off, and ended up cutting the bastard off from the teeth to the crank,( nice job ) tried a torch and a puller and still to no avail. Rick Nolan
