Today the final test is being done by a facory rider, It will go into production next week and will be available at the end of the year.

Programmable spark, 3X stronger than stock ignition, can be set to 4X stronger but will require a seadoo coil or it will burn the stock coil.

4 Timing cuves for different stage kits

Programmable Rev Limites up tp 9000 RPM

Full Servo control will fully open up power valves at 6200 (OEM servo starts to open slowly at 6400 RPM)

Cat & Water temperature sensor control

Down Side Cost will be $533.00 with a 90 day warranty.

Hopefully Riva will give us a better price & warranty.

I obtained info from developer.

BULL SHIT!!!!!!! Seadoo has to use a heavy duty coil so they can squeeze all of the juice out of those 951 engines. Its not about reliabilty is about output.

LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR.

The new CDI has a spark output that is 3X stronger than stock this one works with the stock coil. THERE IS ANOTHER OPTION THAT PUTS OUT A SPARK THAT IS 4X STRONGER THAN STOCK BUT THIS ONE REQUIRES A SEA-DOO OR HIGHER OUTPUT COIL.

I wonder if this will require jetting adjustments at all.

Bill who supplies Seadoo w/ coils. I'm relatively sure they use an outside Japanes supplier as opposed to building them in house. Nippon Denso? Mitsubishi?

Some of you ignition gurus can answer this I'm sure. How does the cdi output relate to coil output? Linear? Exponential? In other words if the cdi output is 3X stock is the voltage the coil delivers 3X stock too?

Boy you have a problem. If stock yamaha coil is not providing output needed, and See Doo is, then which one offer more reliability? Measure twice cut once.

Fercho, did you hear that from anyone at Riva, or only from Greg at Advent? He told me that it was two weeks away when I last spoke to him in the beginning of October. Did he give you any idea when he was going to licence them to Riva?
