The OI pump needs to be on the manifold itself. This is a 720 engine.

Make sure your oil injecton pump is timed properly. Your plugs may read perfectly; off-idle hesitation is your pilot circuit. Adjust low-speed screws/pilot jets accordingly.

If your talking for the 144mm Yamaha pump.... Old 'I'.... 14.5-18 New 'I'....14.7-18.5, same as the old 'J' prop pitch.
