Actually...I'd love to have some snow to go play in. We have our share of heat during the summer. And today, it was about 72 degrees in NC.

And you are probably paying for 3 phase power at your shop right? That in itself has a higher rate and for your home and shop to be the same, that says something right there.

Laszlo, it's time to build personal power station. Diesel driven unit can supply power to many homes. I see hand writing on the wall, it could happen. GJG

I've often considered just that. I want my next home to be on land that has a stream on which I can build a lake...and my own hydroelectric mini-plant to power my needs. And then the power companies can apply suction to my rectum.

Three phase is not more expensive. There is a local residental area that is wired three phase. It was built 40 years ago. Three phase is more desirable and efficient. Commercial rates are higher period regardless of the service. Residental is the lowest.

We get the benefit of higher rates for 3 phase over here.

I already made my blueprints long time o go. But I will have to wait till earth is made new. From the looks of what is going on I will not have to wait much longer. Regards GJG
