I am still trying to figure what jetting to use for the following:
1989 Kawasaki 650SX Keihin 42mm Carb Milled Head Solas 16.5 Degree SS Prop Other than that, pretty much stock.
I ride in southwest lower michigan, so about at sea level.
Since this carb seems to be everyone's favorite for this boat, SOMEONE should have the jetting for it. Looking through parts diagrams, the 93 750SX uses the same carb, and 75/140 jetting. I would guess my boat would use leaner jetting (corrrect??), but I don't know HOW much leaner I should be.
As supplied, the carb came jetted with 85 (low) and 160 (high).
Please let me know asap, as I am trying to get this thing put together.
