Can someone tell me the correct way to line up the drive line after installing a new SBT engine. I get a high speed vibration that Im sure is drive line related when I rev it up. I do not have a long shaft to set it up with. Will the absence of the Rubber Snubber cause this viberation?

Jim, Without the alignment tool, you can only move the motor around until the viberation goes away. If by rubber snubber, you mean the little rubber bumpers on the ends of the driveshaft, then you need them. Without them, you will stirp the splines on whatever the driveshaft plugs into on the oppisite end of the missing bumper. If you are missing the one on the prop end, you will eventually strip the splines in the pto, and vise-versa with the impellor. It's not the best idea, but any spacer will do. I have used everything from washers to dimes.
