Impeller Question

I have a 96 SPX with a stock 720 motor. What pitch impeller is best for this ski? A few years ago I had a cavitation problem and a friend of mine who knew how to remove the pump pulled it and said my stock impeller was in bad shape. I bought a new wear ring and he installed it along with an impeller he had laying around. The pitch of my stock impeller is 11/24, the prop he put in was a stock 95 HX prop which is 10/22. I couldn't really tell if there was a difference in performance because the cavitation problem wasn't fixed. We finally fixed the cavitation by replacing the driveshaft. I bought a brand new Solas 16/23 X-prop and had it installed and it made the ski fly on top end but slower out of the hole. I was also told that the 16/23 was too much prop for the 720 as it would turn too many RPM's and blow the engine. I was told a 14.5/22.5 Skat swirl would be better. I bought one but am not happy with it. I put the 16/23 Xprop in my 98 SPX with the 800 motor because my friend had the same prop in his 96 XP and he said it made a world of difference in his XP, but it didn't do anything for my 98 spx. I later found out that the pitch of his stock 96 xp prop is 17/25 while the stock prop in my 98 spx is 16/24 so it makes sense that it wouldn't help my ski but would help his. So my question is what is a good prop for my 96 720 spx? The props I already have are as follows: stock 95 HX 10/22, stock 96 xp 17/25, solas 16/23 x-prop, stock 98 spx 16/24, and a skat trac 14.5/22.5 swirl. I'm thinking of putting the stock prop back in the 98 spx as the x-prop didn't help it any so I could put the x-prop in my 96 spx if it wont burn my motor up or if any of the others i've listed will work please let me know. If I need a different pitch impeller I have no problem buying a new one. What would the 10/22 HX prop do for my 720 spx? Also can someone tell me what the numbers represent?
