John, be aware there are several different incarnations of gpr magnum pumps out there. The setback 14 vein is supposedly the ticket.

Fagan, Although that is true, there is great value in any Skat Trak pump from the 8 vane to the 14 vane, setback or standard. You cannot go wrong with any of them, they all outperform the oem pump. Cost is a big factor to many people, and some money can be saved by picking up the pumps that are not considered to be the latest and greatest. The recreational buyer might want to consider the lesser standard setback in either an 8 or 12 vane model. The difference is only a few 10ths in speeds. It takes more power to drive the setback pump too.

Bill,Boat has tripple pipes,48 carbs,seado valves,no porting.Going to race ss1200 region 7.First year racing.Want the best pump for my combo.Couple of hundred bucks doesn't matter after I've pissed away this much.John
