1997 Sea-Doo GTX. Over the summer, the fuel gauge on the Info Center started only reading 0 - 1 bar whether the tank is full or empty. I figure a magnet fell off of the sender? Anyway, is it possible to remove the sender without removing the fuel tank? I'd like to fix this myself and get it going again before this Spring.

Tiger, Yes, You can remove the 'baffle' as SD calls it from the tank without removing the tank from the craft.

Once you get it out and the bottom removed, the float will come out of the tube. If you find a magnet missing, you can glue it back into place. Then plug in the wires and tilt it to make the float move. Whatching the guage will tell you if it is fixed if it starts moving as you tilt the baffle.
