Ok I've seen responses from some Michigan folks. I'm looking for a recommendation on a dependable dealer in Wester Michigan for a 96 Polaris SLTX 1050. Could be in G.R., Lundington, Grand Haven, Muskegon area.
Just bought the ski this fall...runs great...just wanted to have someone on file....just in case.
Also does anyone have a realistic idea of what the Top End should be on this ski? The ski is stock with 150 hours and I'm getting about 55mph indicated. I thought it's about in the ball park.

55 sounds a bit low if that is the speedo reading. I was riding my buds 1050SLTX a few weeks back in Laughlin and it was showing around 60-61. I think this boat only has the heads milled a bit and a prop change. The stock prop on that boat I believe is a swirl, which is good for pulling but poor for speed. We changed to a 14/24 Skat and picked up 2- 3 mph. The Skat also pulls well off the line and thru the mid range like the stock prop. Nujets are also fast on these hulls, but slip noticeably on initial takeoff and in rough water.

Thanks for the info...the MPH was from the MFD which I know could be innaccurate....is your friends a 96 or later model? I believe they boosted the H.P. on the later models.
