Don't know, wouldn't want to spend the $10.00 to find out - just a ripoff website. Sea-Doo dealters pay different cost based upon how they pay for the machines, Polaris offers an additional discount for cash, there are varying holdbacks, dealer incentives etc. that change all the time. Besides, dealer cost is just that, what the dealer pays for the machine after investing hundreds of thousands of dollars into a dealership. Generally, if you can get a current model year ski with a 10% discount and no bogus prep, freight, setup, doc, EPA fees, etc. ete., then you've gotten yourself a very good deal. Try buying a STX-R at anything below retail and you'll probably be laughed at, ditto with the Honda turbo. Depends upon the demand for the model and the availability. I priced a STX-R here in Virginia and by time the dealer added all the fees, it was 10K before tax and registration - he was upfront about it because he only has one and so is going to max out the profit when he sells it.

Dennis,

Already gave up and got another GPR. Think I'll wait for the Honda turbo to get debugged and available nationwide (assuming anyone takes it on for Lake Anna). I'm more concerned about the dealership and mechanical abilities than the brand of ski itself.

Just saw your other post. GOOD LUCK!

Couldn't agree more on the dealer issue, but from personal experience with Yamaha not having parts in stock and taking 6 weeks for parts shipments last year was a major pain/bust. Maybe they finally have the pump and PV issues worked out in '02.
