I wouldn't believe much on that particular boat. Long history of being unreliable. It might have ran those inflated speeds but I bet it wouldn't run for long. I rode with that character many times and he couldn't hold throttle open for very long for fear of seizing. And yet another magazine tested them and that Ultra ran 72. I hear most folks get mid-low 70's with all the other usual Ultra mods(bigger carbs, increased compression, pump work) I hear they do work well and Coffmans has a good reputation of builing quality stuff. Be prepared to do ongoing maintenance if you install these though. You want to play you got to pay! $2500 though? What a crock of crap.. Waayyyyy too much money for some pipes! Thats just plain stupid to price these things so high. Research & development sure....but still waaayyyy overpriced.

I agree with Dana and Ronnie don't believe all you read in that magazine about that ski the whole story is not being told . As far as I go the coffman pipes are fine but don't be sending any of your stuff to McMinnville ,TN. for Modifications believe me I am talking from experience it cost me 6500.00 before I finally got my Ski back in good running condition. Once again the Coffman product is fine just be careful who you us as your

not for long IMO. Beware Larry Talley

I also have doubts about the truth in the article, his so called FAME AND FORTUNE, in the second paragraph of the article almost brings tears to my eyes, NOT! I do not feel sorry for him at all, I have learned what not to do from his place of business. I have also been told that Jeff Ames was not even present when the radar testing was done on the so called 80mph boat. More BS on the NG. Everyone save their money. Go with someone you can trust! Has a-lot of experiance, oh, and don't forget tools.!!!!!! Dave

I have also been told that Jeff Ames was not even present Stick to the facts here Dave. I guess by your statement you are implying that I didn't shoot the photos either.
