Hi all,
It seems I have problem and I hope you guys can help me out. It is more something stange I noticed recently and that concernes me. After riding the ski for the day, I tend to clean and dry out the engine compartment when doing this, the last couple of weeks I am noticing a spray of oil and water mixture (looks white when fresh and becomes oily after a while) at the base of the carb, between the engine and the carb on the intake manifold and lower end of the carb itself. I've checked the engine for leaks at the head gasket but I can't find any. Also the carb seems to be OK for, anyway I supose that a leak at the carb would draw in air instead of spraying out this mixture? When looking closer at the intake manifold I also noticed a small hole at the upper left corner, near the grease nipple, (when looking at the ski from carb side) in the top plate, the same surface that has the sticker with engine type. Anyone has an idea what this hole is for? could the spray come from this hole? Enough strange questions for the day, but thanks for your help anyway.
